No, Hytale Top Servers is an independent community project. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Hypixel Studios or any official Hytale entities.
Is this service free to use?
Yes, both browsing servers and listing your own server is completely free. We offer optional sponsored placements for servers that want premium visibility, but the core features are always free.
Finding & Joining Servers
What are Hytale servers?
Hytale servers are community-hosted multiplayer worlds where players connect to experience Hytale together. Each server can offer unique gameplay modes, custom rules, mods, and features created by server owners and their communities.
How do I join a Hytale server?
Browse our server list, click on a server you're interested in, and copy its address. Then open Hytale, go to Servers, click Add Server, and paste the connection address. Click Add Server to save, then select it to connect. Some servers may have additional requirements like whitelisting or Discord verification.
What types of servers are available?
You'll find a wide variety of server types including PvP (player vs player combat), Survival (gather resources and build), Creative (unlimited building), Minigames (quick fun game modes), RPG/Roleplay (story-driven experiences), Economy (trading and shops), and many more.
How do I find servers in my region?
Use the country filter on our homepage to find servers hosted in or near your location. Playing on servers close to you will give you better ping and a smoother gameplay experience.
What does server status mean?
Server status shows whether a server is currently online and accepting connections. We regularly ping servers to update this information. Green indicates online, and the player count shows how many players are currently connected.
Voting
How does voting work?
Sign in to your account and click the vote button on any server's page. You'll need to enter your in-game username. You can vote for each server once every 12 hours. Your votes help servers climb the rankings.
Why do I need to enter my username when voting?
Many servers offer rewards to players who vote for them. By providing your in-game username, server owners can identify and reward you for your support.
How are servers ranked?
Servers are primarily ranked by the number of votes received during the current month. This monthly reset ensures that active, well-maintained servers stay at the top. Sponsored servers appear in a separate featured section.
Can I vote for multiple servers?
Yes! You can vote for as many different servers as you like. The 12-hour cooldown applies per server, so you could vote for Server A, then immediately vote for Server B.
Server Owners
How do I add my server to the list?
Create a free account, then go to your dashboard and click 'Add Server'. Fill in your server details including name, address, description, and tags. Verify your email address, and submit for review. Once approved, your server will appear on the list.
What information do I need to list my server?
You'll need your server's address (IP or domain), port number, a name, short and long descriptions, and appropriate tags. You can also add an icon, banner, website URL, and Discord invite link.
How long does approval take?
Most servers are reviewed within 24-48 hours. We manually check each submission to ensure it meets our guidelines and provides a good experience for players.
Can I edit my server listing after it's approved?
Yes, you can update your server's description, tags, images, and social links at any time through your dashboard. The server address can also be updated if needed.
What are sponsored server slots?
Sponsored slots are premium placements at the top of our homepage. Each month, server owners can bid for these slots. The highest bidders receive featured placement, giving their servers maximum visibility.
Why was my server rejected?
Servers may be rejected for various reasons including incomplete information, inappropriate content, suspected fraud, or technical issues. If your server was rejected, you can appeal or resubmit with corrections.
Account & Technical
Do I need an account to browse servers?
No, you can browse and view all server listings without an account. However, you'll need to create a free account to vote for servers or list your own server.
How do I verify my email?
After registering or adding a server, we'll send a verification email to your address. Click the link in the email to verify. If you don't see it, check your spam folder or request a new verification email from your account settings.
I forgot my password. How do I reset it?
Click 'Sign In' and then 'Forgot Password'. Enter your email address and we'll send you a link to reset your password.
How do I report a server?
If you encounter a server that violates our guidelines or contains inappropriate content, please contact us with the server details and reason for your report. We take all reports seriously and investigate promptly.
